I'm Lyndsie and I'm so happy you are here!
I've been an artist by nature as far back as I can remember. Starting my photography business has been something that i've been dreaming up since I was 14. I grew up in a home with a mom who was obsessed with scrapbooking, and it was then that I learned the value of preserving memories. I remember when my dad put his Canon AE1 in my hands for the first time, the very camera that traveled all over the world with him on his deployments. I immediately enrolled in darkroom photography classes my freshman year of high school. It was there that I learned all the ins and outs of photography, hand developing film and images, and creating cameras out of cardboard boxes. 18 years later, with a collection of film cameras passed down to me from many generations, and I still love photography just the same.
Time if fleeting. I've learned that each year that I grow older it somehow goes faster and faster. With the busy of life, it feels like you can blink and miss it. Suddenly your little babies aren't so little, and the next moment your hearing your grand babies running across your floors. The skin you once had has aged, your wisdom increases, and your hair grays- proof of the full life that you have lived. I want to carry you back to when you were lost in the moment of genuine feeling. Every moment is worth documenting. You are never too young or too old. Don't wait for perfectionism. Your life is a miracle and every moment is worth being celebrated and remembered. There is no moment too big or too small. I am so passionate about documenting images that just feel like you, to be cherished for years to come.
I have so much passion for the beauty of the world that surrounds me. In a world of instant gratification and convenience, it is healing to take a deep breath, disconnect from the world, and make genuine connections. Documenting and witnessing the life of others in the most breathtaking places is such an honor. I have the best job in the world, it has been one of the best gifts from God. I feel so blessed to be able to freeze moments in time of His greatest creation on His canvas. He is my purpose, He is my reason. The glory belongs to Him.
I'm just a girl with a big heart for a simple life. A life where a home cooked meal is how I say I love you. Home is where the bread is always baked fresh and the coffee never runs out. I love spending time with my husband Joey, he is my best friend and my biggest cheerleader. I'm truly a husbands girl through and through. I dream of owning an old homestead with an farmhouse, more chickens than I know to do with, and a garden so big I can preserve to my hearts content, and plenty of room for all the cows and horses Joey could ever want. But for now, we adjust from the ranch life in Montana and South Dakota, to the city life in the sunshine state of Florida.
